Liu Yan, a "genius teenage boxer", sees her hard-earned career go up in smoke for refusing to throw a match. To make matters worse, she receives news of the death of her mother, who abandoned her years ago. Traveling abroad to handle her mother's affairs, Liu Yan is left with massive debts and custody of her younger brother. With her mother's fate uncertain, Liu Yan decides to stay and search for her. Just as she begins to find her footing, her mother's unexpected return throws her life into turmoil once again...
